Collon drug finds worth €12,200

A 21-year-old man was arrested in what Gardaí described as a significant drug find in Collon last week.

The man was found to be in possession of cocaine estimated to be worth in excess of €2,200, following a search of a car on the Collon Road.

The search took place shortly before midnight on Thursday June 21st, around an hour after a bag containing cannabis thought to be worth around €10,000 was located in a field in Funshog. The man was arrested and released without charge, while a file is being prepared by the DPP.
