Outreach worker funding

LOUTH county council is to fund an outreach worker as part of the services of the Red Door project, Drogheda Women’s Refuge and Drogheda Homeless Aid. It was one of two formal proposals for €35,000 set aside by the local authority to fund specific projects in the homeless and social care area. Members voted overwhelmingly in favour of the south Louth proposal.
