LAST year’s Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann was an astonishing success! This was in a large part due to the outstanding contribution of volunteers – from the street ambassadors who welcomed visitors, to volunteers who cleaned the streets, marshalled the campsites, were stewards at the competitions and filled countless other roles, their involvement was key to the success of the event.

Volunteering at the Fleadh you will become part of a family of volunteers showcasing this fantastic festival to the world. Participating as a volunteer will enable you to build new friendships, develop new skills and play an integral role in the success of the biggest festival of Irish culture in the world.

There are many roles available for volunteers at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann. Examples include competition volunteers, street stewards, Fleadh ambassadors, volunteer administrators, catering volunteers, volunteers maintaining the cleanliness of our streets and multimedia volunteers. For more details on what you might be doing in a specific role contact Louth Volunteer Centre on Bolton Street, Drogheda.
