Under-20s draw Dubs in semi-finals

MEATH under-20s have drawn the short straw in the provincial semi-finals and will take on old rivals Dublin in the second of the last-four ties this Saturday evening in Pairc Tailteann at 7.30.

The Royals emerged from Division 2 of the group stages with an unblemished record, winning all three matches against Kildare, Laois and Wicklow. The Dubs also topped their group with a 100% record.

However the counties were paired against each other when an open draw was made on Sunday. Kildare will oppose Offaly in the other semi-final on Friday evening.
