Grainne is class player

GRAINNE Kierans (right), the Drogheda based schoolgirl, was back to action for the school team last week when they beat a visiting Liverpool side, again on the scoring list, adding to her impressive displays for Ireland over Easter.

The under 16 international tournament against the Scots and Northern Ireland proved highly entertaining with Grainne starting three games and coming on as a sub in the fourth.

She managed three goals in total and was earmaked as a star for the future.
