SANDPIT SIGNS.
New signs have been erected informing motorists that they are coming to Sandpit. The signs bearing the inscription “Welcome to Sandpit” are located close to the speed limits on the approach from both sides. On the back of the signs, motorists are bade “Slan Abhaile”. They certainly bring a nice touch to all the work being undertaken for the Tidy Towns competition.
ST. FECHIN’S GOLF CLASSIC
Bookings are now being taken for the St. Fechin’s GFC Golf Classic on Friday July 27th which will be held at the Co. Louth Golf Club, Baltray. To book a tee time, please contact John at 0871263578.
ST. FECHINS LOTTO.
There was no winner of the Lotto. The numbers drawn were 2, 16, 20 and 23. The €100 winner was John J. Conneely. €20 winners were Julia Boylan, Jim Finegan, Dolores Collier, Michael Mulligan and Padraig Duffy. The jackpot is worth €1,400 and is sponsored by Madden’s Centra, Termonfeckin.
CEILI.
A Ceili will be held this Thursday June 28th in Mc Hugh’s, Chord Road, Drogheda at 9pm. Music will be provided by Thriskell. All are welcome.
FAI SOCCER SCHOOLS.
Bookings are being taken for the FAI Summer Soccer School which will be held at the Termonfeckin Celtic F.C. grounds, Sheetland Road from Monday July 23rd - Friday 27th, from 10:30am to 3:00pm daily. It costs €65 per child and all participants receive an exclusive kit (jersey, shorts and socks), backpack, football and certificate. All coaches are FAI accredited and Garda vetted.
SEAPOINT PITCH & PUTT.
Seapoint Pitch & Putt Club would like to congratulate Joanne Cooney on finishing 3rd in the Leinster Strokeplay in Gowran the previous Sunday. No Club Competition was held last weekend due to Channonrock hosting their Open Scotch Foursomes. Members please check the entry board for entry sheets, especially the Ladies Club Strokeplay on Friday June 29th, Club Singles Matchplay starting on Monday July 9th and Gents Club Strokeplay on September 16th. The draw for the Club Doubles Matchplay has been done and is on the website and also on the Notice Board in the clubhouse. The first round is to be completed by the July 1st. 2018 Summer Camp dates are from Monday July 9th - Friday July 13th. Application Forms are in the Clubhouse. On August 25th and 26th, Seapoint Pitch & Putt will proudly host the Irish Life PPUI Irish International Pitch & Putt Open.

Sunday July 29th: Seapoint Cup. The Restaurant is now open under new management.
CEMETERY SUNDAY.
The annual Blessing of the Graves takes place on Sunday August 12th in both Parish Cemeteries. The Service of Blessing in Holy Cross Cemetery, Sheetland Road is at 3pm and in the Old Cemetery at 4pm.
ADORATION.
Eucharistic Adoration takes place on Monday evenings from 7-8pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Why not come and spend some quiet time in the presence of the Lord.

The Greenhills Summer Sports Camp will take place this year for two weeks: July 9th – 13th and July 16th – 20th.
