BREEDER WINS HONOURS.

Local breeder, Michael Molloy, recently walked away with top honours at The Louth County Show in Belurgan, Dundalk.

His Limousin bull, Mullary Maxine, at the tender age of 11 months, not only took the Limousin Championship, but was also the overall interbreed Champion of the show.

All concerned, concluding Brodie and Marcella Molloy were rightly proud of Maxine’s achievement, as are all of us in Monasterboice, and that’s no bull.

FERNEY PARK COMES TOGETHER.

Me auld stomping ground, Ferney Park, was a hive of activity recently, when all residents from the immediate area got together on it’s green, and had a right auld chin wag, among a sea of picnic baskets and all their contents. What a wonderful way to get to know your neighbour, in this era where the phone is so stuck to the face, it’s difficult to say where one ends and the other one begins, with eyeball to eyeball dialogues becoming as scarce as hens teeth.

Us Ferney Parkians are social without the social media. Well done to all
