Proper planis neededfor theDale

A comprehensive Environmental Scheme is needed in the historic Dale and Cllr Tommy Byrne is determined that the issue will be tackled.

He has tabled a motion for the next meeting of the council, demanding action.

He wants to see a Greenway developed, in the area of the 101 Steps and along the public right of way of the main sewerage line, to the eye of the Bridge at Meadow View, through the overgrown laneway adjoining Bully’s Acre and exiting at Calvary Cemetery.

He also wants to see the removal of Japanese Knotweed for the benefit of the local community and encouragement of tourists to this most historic area.
