Restore Termonfeckin Bridge is plea from campaigner Thomas

LOCAL Tidy Towns legend Thomas Maguire wants to see Termonfeckin Bridge restored in full.

The bridge (right) suffered a strike earlier this year and work has been slow on repairing it, but Thomas has had enough.

‘Fair play to the person doing the job, but this needs to be put back the proper way, by a stonemason. This bridge dates from 1799 and we can’t repair it in a ‘ bits and pieces’ way. It needs to be tackled properly and the damage did take place months ago,’ he stated.
