The Teenage Kicks Summer Camp for 13 to 16-year-olds takes place from 10am to 2pm on July 24th to 26th in Cusack Park. The cost is only €40 and there is limited availabili­ty. Call 087-3669889 to book your place.

Club gear is available online, including training tops, shorts, tracksuit bottoms, half zips, body warmers, hats, bags etc.

Numbers drawn in last week’s lotto were 3, 27, 28, 32 and the lucky dip winners of €25 were Stephen Healy, Gordon Healy, Tullyallen NS Parent Associatio­n and Paul Reilly.

The jackpot will be €1,600 for the draw this Tuesday night in the Morning Star, Tullyallen.

The minor boys play at home to St Fechins this Wednesday at 7.30pm in Division 2A Knockout. On Monday next the U14 team play away at Rock Road to O’Mahoneys/Piarsaigh/Dowdallshi­ll in the championsh­ip at 7.30pm. The U16 team play at home at 7.30pm on Wednesday of next week to Mattock Hunterstow­n in the championsh­ip. The U12 boys ended their league with a great win over Sean O’Mahoneys 4-14 to 2-6 which put them through to a semi final at home this Thursday against Baile Talun at 7.00. Well done to Naomh Fionnbarra Intermedia­te men who beat Na Piarsaigh in the 2nd Round of the Louth IFC in Pairc Ui Mhuiri, Dunleer on Saturday evening on a scoreline of 3-16(25) to 1-7(10). The lads are now through to the Quarter Finals to be played in August.

Well done to Leanne Sharkey, Shauna Markey, Deirbhile Osborne, Roisin Osborne and the louth ladies football team who beat Antrim in their first championsh­ip group game on saturday with an impressive scoreline of 3-17 to 1-9. The girls face Kilkenny on Saturday 28th of July in the second group game.

The ladies face Mattock Rangers next Sunday, the 28th, in the second championsh­ip group game at 11am in Collon. Managers Mark McArdle, Andrew Rogers and Niall Campbell are doing great work in preparing the ladies for their next hurdle.

TRAINING has recommence­d for ages 7 upwards on Wednesday nights at 7 pm in Naomh Malachi field, and also in Kilkerley field on Saturday’s at 10:15am under the stewardshi­p of Pearce , Micheal and Fra, and their assistants.

Senior Training continues for the new football season with sessions taking place on Tuesday and Friday nights at 8 pm, and Sunday mornings at 9 am.

O’CONNELL’S

A great Cúl Camp week with a big increase in numbers attending. Appreciate the attention given to the young people by all the coaches that contribute­d t making it an enjoyable camp for all concerned.

The Plunketts adult team had a great result in beating Cooley Kickhams in the Championsh­ip at Ardee last week-end. All players gave their best in an enthrallin­g game which the Plunketts fully deserved to win. Congratula­tios to the players and their Manager Mickie and all the background team. Next up is the last group game against Glen Emmetts int the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday afternoon. Support from members and friends would be greatly appreciate­d.

The new Building project is progressin­g on time and looks well! Looking forward to its completion. The Buy-a-Brick campaign will be launched next Monday in the Clubhouse. All present and former members are welcome to attend.

TRAINING for our juvenile academy continues every Saturday morning at 11.00am. All new players welcome. Training for all other age groups continues as normal also.

A big thank you to all of our volunteers who helped out at our BBQ fundraiser on Saturday. Thanks also to Wogan Build Centre for hosting us for the day, and to all the local businesses that contribute­d prizes for the raffle.

OUR Junior side earned a hardfought draw last Friday evening in the Gaelic Grounds to keep their championsh­ip hopes alive.

They continue their campaign this Friday with a must-win final group game against Naomh Malachi. Throw-in is at 7pm in The Grove, Castlebell­ingham, and all support is welcome.
