Ladies go on a scoring spree
STILL smarting from their Leinster quarter-final defeat to Wicklow, Meath went on a goal-scoring spree as they brushed aside the challenge of Fermanagh in the All-Ireland IFC at Clones on Sunday.
Fermanagh managed an early goal, but after that it was all Meath and by half-time they had built up a 6-12 to 1-2 lead.
Niamh O’Sullivan opened Meath’s goal tally and Marion Farrelly (two), Vikki Wall, Emma White and Stacey Grimes all

Marion Farrelly top-scored with 3-3 for the winners who will likely face a tougher test when they take on Roscommon in Kinnegad this coming Saturday at 1.30pm.
