LOUTH Libraries have been awarded a share of more than €470,000 funding and are planning a two-week festival of events to coincide with Science Week.

Louth Libraries intend to programme over 40 events across the county encouraging people of all ages and walks of life to be informed, inspired and involved in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

Minister for Business, Enterprise, and Innovation Heather Humphreys, TD together with Minister of State for Training, Skills, Innovation, Research and Development, John Halligan TD, announced the investment of more than €470,000 for organisations to host Science
