What about a Crowne Plaza here?

THE new council plan for the West Gate area, around the Bridge of Peace, includes provision for a hotel development.

The sold sign went up on the former burnt out B&B some time ago (right) and I wonder what will be developed on the site.

Maybe an hotel as part of the council’s proposal? Another Crowne Plaza, Dundalk style?

That area is ripe for the right kind of development and who knows what the future holds for this part of town.
