Delaney family say thanks for support
Dear Sir,
On behalf of Loretta, Tyrone and myself, Gloria Delaney, we would sincerely like to express our gratitude and appreciation to everyone for supporting us in our ‘For You’ Tribute Concert in the Barbican Centre, Drogheda which took place on May 26th.
We are very grateful to Larry’s brothers and sisters who have helped us through this very sad time and who were so supportive of the show.
Thanks to Declan Power and the helpful staff of The Barbican Centre. We wish to say a heartfelt thank you to Edward Holly and St. Peter’s Male Voice Choir, Drogheda, their guest Claire Regan and compere Gerry Kelly who all gave their professional services free of charge and performed so wonderfully.
The concert was in aid of the four Drogheda Cancer Charities: Garry Kelly Cancer Support Centre, Louth Hospice Homecare, North East Cancer Research and Education Trust and the Louth Palliative Care. These causes are very close to our hearts as I’m sure they are to so many others. We would like to thank the representatives of each charity for their support and attendance.
The raffle prizes donated were really appreciated. Whether you were able to attend the concert, or supported us in any other way yet again we extend our thanks. Yours, Gloria Delaney
