St Peter’s to release Noreen BawnB for Fleadh
IN recognition of the momentous me occasion of the Fleadh Fle being hosted in Drogheda, Dr St. Peter’s Male Voice Choir is releasing a brand new recording of the classic Irish song ‘Noreen Bawn’ on Friday 10th August.
While St. Peter’s Male Voice Choir released two CD albums in 2004 and 2009, this is their first ever release of a single and also the choir’s first download-only release.
This version of ‘Noreen Bawn’ was arranged by musical director Edward Holly along with Paul O’Brien and Andrew Townend.
Recorded in the internationally renowned Windmill Lane Studio, Dublin by acclaimed producer Brian Masterson this is a powerful emotional performance of a wonderful song.
Choir chairman Paul Delaney said that choir members are thrilled that they are the first choir to record and release this famous song and are proud of the new single. The song can be purchased on Apple iTunes as a digital download for €0.99.
