Dunleer hosts heritage events
National Heritage Week takes place this year from August 18th-26th.
This year’s theme revolves around deepening the connection between people and heritage and this is explored through “Sharing Stories”.
During Heritage Week, a large number of events will take place throughout the county.
Dunleer will play host to a couple of exhibitions: School folklore stories from the 1930’s will be on display in Dunleer library from 18th to 25th August ( late opening, Tuesday 21st August 6.00pm- 8.00pm ).
Also, Stories & Art exhibition of Buildings in Dunleer by 1st Year students from Scoil Ui Mhuiri, Saturday mornings, 18th and 25th August. Further details next week.
