Three is the magic number for Morland

ALL-ROUNDER Elizabeth Morland claimed three medals - including two golds - on a great weekend for the Cushinstow­n club at the National Outdoor Senior Champonshi­ps in Santry.

She took first place in both the long jump and javelin and also won bronze in the 100m hurdles, while clubmate Zoe Mohan came fifth in the Ladies hammer throw with a PB of 46.56m.

Donal Kearns was seventh in the Men’s long jump with a PB of 6.59m and Michael O’Sullivan and Luke McCabe just missed out on making their respective finals, with O’Sullivan ninth in the shot putt and 10th in the discus and McCabe competing in the 100m heats.

Also representi­ng Cushinstow­n at the championsh­ips was Paul Keogan in the 200m.
