Motor cars replace the horses on the hill for big September event

-

ALMC Motor Club is delighted to announce further details for their Performance Car Show on 30th September.

This year’s show will take place at Bellewstown Racecourse, in the heart of the Co. Meath. This historic Racecourse is known for its two multi-day Racing Festivals in July and August, and its location on the Hill of Crockafotha in Co. Meath, is described as “beautifully situated with magnificent views of the Mountains of Mourne to the North and the Irish Sea to the East”. It is a part of the county well-known to ALMC Motor Club, having run several Special Stages Rallies there in the past.

This year’s Car Show display will take place in the grounds and Paddock area of the Racecourse. For the information of those displaying their cars, there is a plentiful mixture of tarmac (ideal for lower vehicles, such as Sports and High Performance Supercars), and tightly packed gravel and cut grass areas. A full layout map of the venue will be available in the coming days on www.almc.ie.

Secure Trailer parking will be available on site and the event will be marshalled by ALMC Club members as well as other marshals from other Motorsport Clubs.

This year’s show will attract a fantastic selection Performance Cars, Supercars, Sports Cars, Rally Cars, Drift Cars, as well as a display of Race Bikes and Karts, and much, much more! There will be entertainment for the kids too, with Bouncy Castles and Face Painting also on site.

For the avid Motoring enthusiasts and Collectors, there will also be a great selection of Trading Stands and Auto Jumble displays, an ideal opportunity to find that lost piece of the motoring jigsaw you have been searching for!

There will be food, coffee and other catering vans on site also, to keep the hunger and caffeine pangs of all our exhibitors and members of the general public at bay for the day!

Admission Prices for the day of the Show are as follows;

•Cars for Display: €10, including driver and one passenger, extra passengers €5 each, with under 12’s free of charge, including one Commemorative gift per car.

•General Admission at Car Park Gate or Main Gate: €5 per person, with under-12’s free of charge.
