CUCHULAINN Gaels turned in another impressive display in their final league outing of the season and will consider themselves unlucky not to have taken something from the game.
The Omeath men battled well from the opening whistle and with Ray Phillips, Micheal McCabe and Jody Keenan finding their range, they were 0-9 to 0-7 ahead at the break.
However, the game changed at the start of the second half when goals from Tony Kelly and Kevin McMahon helped the Seans edge ahead. The Gaels fought hard to get back in front but they fell just short and the Mountrush men returned home with the victory.
