Last Friday Lorcan went round in 3 over for a return of 44 points to win the BC ELECTRICS, DUNDALK Sponsored Friday Open. Lorcan was a point clear of Paul Lambert (21) who in turn finished a point ahead of third placed Martin Gill (22). Friday Open Entry is Members £7 & Visitors £12 which includes 2’s.

Following a few near misses getting touched off in a few countbacks

Ruairi Murchan secured his place in the Byrne Monumental Wednesday Cup Final following his win over the Front 9 White markers. The fifth and final round over this particular course saw Ruairi actually win a countback over Duindalk’s Larry O Rourke after both returned 21 points.

So the other four qualifiers for the final off the Front 9 White Markers Section were James Maguire, Raymond Kelly, Benny Tierney & Shane O Neill. As Raymond Kelly won the overall best 3 cards for Section winner and had already qualified for the final by virtue of being a weekly winner section runner-up Daniel Hughes got himself a final berth with 57 points one ahead of Gerard Loye and two ahead of Shane Toale.
