Our club is hosting the semi-finals of the Meath Leagues this Wednesday evening when four clubs will compete to reach the finals. Spectators welcome.

You can now buy fresh vegetable boxes at the centre; boxes contain a mix of the organic, seasonal produce currently available from Sonairte’s garden. Just choose how much you want (€10, 15, 20, 30 etc.), contact us and your box will be waiting for you.
BOOK LAUNCH - LAYTOWN STRAND RACES, CELEBRATING 150 YEARS
Beach racing at Laytown takes place on Thursday 6th September this year and marks 150 years of racing on Laytown Strand. To get the celebrations going, the race committee is launching a commemorative book called Laytown Strand Races, celebrating 150 years, in The Glenside Hotel this Tuesday 14th August at 7.30. Trainer Ted Walsh will launch the book, all are welcome. Compiled by racing enthusiast John Kirwan and historian Fiona Ahern, who also produced 300 Years of Racing at Bellewstown in 2013, this book is packed with interviews, anecdotes, recollections, reminiscences and historical facts about Laytown Races. HOSPICE COFFEE MORNING
East Meath Hospice association will be hosting National Coffee Morning to Hospice on Thursday 20th September. This National event is sponsored by Bewley’s, and all money raised will go provide services for people with a diagnosis of cancer Volunteer drivers provide door to door transport to Hospital appointments and comfort fund is available to provide equipment as needed. Local venues for coffee mornings are Whyte’s Stamullen, Bellewstown Community Centre, The Lime Kiln Julianstown and a new venue this year is the Neptune Hotel in Bettystown. Please note all monies raised locally will be used locally.
LOURDES PILGRIMAGE
The Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes 2018 will take place from September 12th -17th and will be led by Bishop Smith. The fare is €749 for full board and inclusive of insurance and travel taxes (single supplement €180). To book, contact The Presbytery 041-9827384.

This wonderful venue is up and running again. A visit to the premises proves to be delightful and I’m sure it will be once again the mecca for many visiting the area in the years to come.
