Steam train run event

The annual steam train excursions from Drogheda Rail Station to Dundalk and Skerries, which was cancelled in July, will now go ahead on Sunday September 16th .Tickets are on sale from Drogheda Tourist Office in the Tholsel, West Street costing €14 for adults and €8 for under 16’s.

These trips have proved to be very popular and are sold out each year.

The trains are pulled by vintage steam engines and have both bar and snack cars.
