HERITAGE DAY

Taking place in the Julianstow­n Village Garden this Sunday 26th August from 2 to 5 p.m. There will be a Creative Willow Workshop for Children and our local Historian Brendan Matthews will be on hand to tell us all the historical facts on the surroundin­g areas. There will also be light refreshmen­ts for all and we do hope that you will join us on this very special day. Free Admission and all welcome.

HOLY RELICS IN MOSNEY

The Relics of Saints Louis & Zélie Martin and Saint Thérèse of Lisieux will visit Mosney as part of the Celebratio­ns for the World Meeting of Families on Thursday 30th August from 11am to 1pm. The Relics will be present at St. Patrick’s Church, Mosney. Parking facilities will be available on the day. All Welcome

MEALS ON WHEELS

Meals-on-Wheels are looking for volunteer drivers to help with delivering meals to senior citizens in the Stamullen and Julianstow­n areas on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week. If you are interested in helping, please contact MOW on 0867222068.

CITY NORTH FUN FAIR

The Annual Free Family Fair takes place on Sunday August 26th from 2-6pm!

There will be fun for all ages with Live Music, BBQ, Bouncy Castles, Face Painting, Rodeo Bull, Disco Dome, Dance Performers, Raffle and much more! All proceeds in aid of SOSAD Drogheda.

HOSPICE COFFEE MORNING

East Meath Hospice associatio­n will be hosting National Coffee Morning to Hospice on Thursday 20th September. This National event is sponsored by Bewley’s, and all money raised will go provide services for people with a diagnosis of cancer Volunteer drivers provide door to door transport to Hospital appointmen­ts and comfort fund is available to provide equipment as needed. Local venues for coffee mornings are Whyte’s Stamullen, Bellewstow­n Community Centre, The Lime Kiln Julianstow­n and a new venue this year is the Neptune Hotel in Bettystown. Please note all monies raised locally will be used locally.
