CELEBRATING SUFFRAGE CONCERT
Bellewstown Heritage Group is staging a concert celebrating women’s suffrage success in 1918 for Heritage Week. The concert will take place in Bellewstown school on Friday 24th at 8 p.m., free admission and all welcome and will consist of songs, poetry, dancing and a short piece on women gaining the right to vote in 1918. HOSPICE COFFEE MORNING
East Meath Hospice association will be hosting National Coffee Morning to Hospice on Thursday 20th September. This National event is sponsored by Bewley’s, and all money raised will go provide services for people with a diagnosis of cancer Volunteer drivers provide door to door transport to Hospital appointments and comfort fund is available to provide equipment as needed. Local venues for coffee mornings are Whyte’s Stamullen, Bellewstown Community Centre, The Lime Kiln Julianstown and a new venue this year is the Neptune Hotel in Bettystown. Please note all monies raised locally will be used locally.
