Boyne Folk Group are real stars

THE Boyne Folk Group staged a quite stunning concert in the Dominican Church during the Fleadh.

Their song about the ‘Walled Town of Drogheda’ attracted great interest and there was more than one shout for encores!

The group will also perform in the Dominican in September for a special celebration mass.

It will be a big occasion for the church as Archbishop Eamon Martin will celebrate it.

The church was also superbly lit for the Fleadh (pictured).

I have to give Dolores McGovern a mention. I came across her work in the window of TAS on Barrack Lane and it is simply superb.
