Michael Reade’s ‘Loose Talk’ role

LOCAL radio station, LMFM, have announced that their highly rated early morning current affairs show, ‘Loose Talk’, will make its return to the air on Monday, September 8, with new host Michael Reade.

Announcing the return of the show LMFM Programme Controller, Eamonn Doyle said he was delighted to find a replacemen­t presenter capable of ’ tackling, national and internatio­nal issues in the vigorous manner which our audience expects’, following the departure of Paul Maguire to RTE radio.

New presenter, Michael Reade, formerly of Midlands Radio 3, Tipp FM and Independen­t Network News, is a native of Dublin. Mr Reade has over 20 years experience on-air in both Irish and European radio stations.

Mr Reade’s appointmen­t ends weeks of speculatio­n over who would get the position.

Mr Doyle continued: ‘Michael is a polished broadcaste­r and a talented interviewe­r. The research team have been in place on this programme for several years and we believe our listeners will enjoy the fresh approach that Michael is taking with the programme.’

Commenting on his appointmen­t Mr Reade said he was looking forward to working with the talented ‘Loose Talk* team.
