Man (36) accused of three counts of theft

A 36-year-old man accused of three counts of theft from three apartments has been returned for trial to the circuit criminal court.

Patrick McCann, St Oliver’s Park, Cloverhill Road, Clondalkin, is charged with the offences at Preston Mills, Drogheda, on 6 October, 2017.

The total value of property allegedly taken amounted to €6,120. A book of evidence was served on the defendant and his case put back to Dundalk circuit criminal court on 2 October.

He was granted legal aid for one junior and one senior counsel.
