Town Hall meeting on ‘future vision’

-

FOLLOWING on from the hugely successful town hall meeting on City Status, Mayor of Drogheda Frank Godfrey is calling a public meeting to once again discuss the “Future vision of Drogheda”.

This meeting will take place on Wednesday October 17th at 7.30pm in The Westcourt Hotel, and all are invited to come along and take part.

Looking at what citizens would like to see happening in the town in the future, the meeting will hear from a panel and a Question & Answer session will follow.

This is the second in a series of three meetings on the future of the town, following on from the recent Drogheda City Status meeting.

The panel includes Liam Reilly speaking on tourism, Paul Egan on human resources, Declan Power from the Barbican will speak on jobs and commuters, solicitor Emma Coffey will address the National 2040 plan, and Helen Downey, formerly of Virgin Atlantic, will look at customer service.

All are welcome to attend this informative and interesting meeting. A report on the meeting and its recommendations will be furnished to Louth County Council to reflect the wishes of the Drogheda community.
