Drogheda hospice big coffee morning

-

A BEAUTIFUL lady called Gabrielle Diamond held a coffee morning at her home in Clogherhead earlier this year for the Drogheda Hospice Homecare group.

With the great support of family, friends and the community she raised €3,220 for the Foundation. Unfortunately a few weeks after the coffee morning Gabrielle passed away suddenly.

The group were so grateful for the support of this lovely lady and were shocked and saddened by the news of her passing.

Recently, hospice committee members Rita Lennon, Irene McMahon and Ann Costello were presented with a cheque from Gabrielle’s husband Michael, daughter Jacqueline and son John Paul to help others.

The annual coffee morning for the hospice homecare is on Friday 21st September from 10am to 12 noon at St. Peters C.O.I Hall. Admission is €5. Tea,coffee and a variety of delicious treats will be served. There will be a cake sale and raffle on the morning with some wonderful prizes. All monies raised locally are spent locally providing a driver service to appointments, beds and equipment and general support of cancer patients and their families. All welcome.
