Barbican is packed out for Kaz Hawkins show

-

A packed out Barbican was host to the SOSAD Flame of Hope Concert, headlined by Belfast singer / songwriter Kaz Hawkins, with special guests Sam York and St. Peter’s Male Voice Choir.

Paying tribute to SOSAD on behalf of the choir, their PRO Anthony Moore said:

“We in Drogheda are all aware of the marvellous work SOSAD do in supporting people who have lost loved ones to suicide as well as those among us who are at risk of suicide and self-harm. It was a very great honour for us to sing at the Flame of Hope concert, which was held on the eve of World Suicide Prevention Day, and we are very grateful to SOSAD for inviting us to do so”.

“We were also extremely privileged on the night to share the stage with Kaz Hawkins from Belfast. It is no exaggeration to say that we were all simply blown away by her amazing voice. It is a rare treat to hear the blues and soul sung with such passion and we and the entire audience were simply enraptured listening to her. We certainly hope she will be back in Drogheda soon.’
