Well done to the council on the paint job on Ballymakenny Road

THERE has been much debate about the lack of clear markings at junctions around the town but one very badly needed one has been done and looks great.

The area at Brookville and Yellowbatter (right) has been brightened up considerably with some safety arrows repainted.

I think it was Cllr Pio Smith who raised the issues around here in the past and glad to see the works done. The Yellowbatter junction in particular is very busy at times and a real danger given the speed on this stretch.
