FOOTBALL AND HURLING

Congratulations to St. Fechin’s in reaching the CTI Business Solutions Intermediate Football Final. This is a great achievement following the recent win against Naomh Fionnbarra with a scoreline of 2-13 to 2-8. The Intermediate Title is there for taking but the opposition St. Mochtas will not make it easy. The Louth Village team will also be hungry for the title. The very best of luck lads. Meanwhile the Anchor Tours sponsored Senior Hurling Championship Final will have taken place in Dunleer and hopefully St Fechin’s will have regained the Senior Title for a third time following Naomh Moninne’s scuppering of a possible hat trick last year. St Fechin’s played Knockbridge in the final and whatever the outcome, they will have played a great game.

ST. FECHINS LOTTO

There was no winner of the Lotto. The numbers drawn were 2, 8, 19 and 21. The winner of €100 was Carmel Savage. €20 winners were M Kelly, Margarete Behan, Miriam O’Foley, Damien O’Neill and P Hanratty. The jackpot is now worth €1,800 and is sponsored by Madden’s Centra, Termonfeckin.
