DULEEK TIDY TOWNS

Duleek was awarded 249 marks this year in the Tidy Towns competitio­n, this is an increase of 6 marks on last year. Thanks to all the volunteers who give up their time to weed and water flowers, strim and cut grass and all the other jobs to keep Duleek the lovely village that it is. Well done.

The Fox and Kerins Families would like to say a Big Thank You to all who supported the Barn Dance in any way. As explained previously, due to printing deadlines on this particular column (all needs to be put to bed before any given weekend), its very difficult, and a tad frustratin­g for this piece not be in vogue with the wonderful Senior Championsh­ip run by The Mairtins.
