Laura Armada’s Juice Works one of the best in Ireland

THE prestigious Irish Quality Food Awards, which reward and recognise the best food and drink products on sale in Ireland, shortlisted 5 companies, including The Juice Works from Drogheda, for the title of Small Producer of the Year Award 2018. Sponsored by Dunne’s Stores, this is one of the most competitive categories in the whole Awards. The winners will be announced on 18th October 2018.

Winning this prize means a listing in Dunne’s as part the Simply Better range, initially in 50 stores.

As part of this year’s competition, Laura Armada from The Juice Works had to present her product and company Dragon’s Den style to the Dunne’s Stores team and the Irish Quality Food Awards judges, which was a nerve-wracking experience for all of the finalists.

The Juice Works creates pure cold-pressed juices with no additives or chemicals that can be bought fresh or frozen and can even be delivered to the door - so the juices can be easily incorporated into a healthier lifestyle. They were created by Laura Armada, who is one of only a handful of fully qualified Independent juicing Therapists in Ireland.
