Alzheimer’s concert proves to be another great success at Holy Family church

-

A great evening of music and song attracted a big attendance to the Holy Family Church in Ballsgrove in aid of the Drogheda branch of the Alzheimer Society.

The concert was headlined by the Garda Band conducted by Inspector Pat Kenny, who provided a variety of tunes from the movies and the musicals.

Sparkling performances, as usual, were given by top tenor, Eugene Ginty, and star soprano, Amie Dyer.

They performed brilliantly on individual classic songs and also on duets where they excelled.

The local youth choir of the Holy Family Church again showed their talent and versatility under the baton of Niall Boyle.

The branch has thanked Fr David Bradley and all who contributed to a great night for their support.

The society has is engaged in major fund-raising efforts to provide a new day care centre for the town to cater for Alzheimer sufferers.
