Slane talk on papers
SLANE History Society will present a talk entitled “Your Locality in the Newspapers, 1750-1900”.
This talk will be given by Noel Carolan and is the second in this popular series, which gives rare information relating to Slane and the surrounding parishes, and should be of great interest to all those who wish to learn more about past events and local characters and families.
It will take place in the Slane Youth Cafe on Thursday 25th October at 8pm.
