Carranstown and Mariner continue perfect starts

CARRANSTOWN and Mariner are the only teams with 100% records after two rounds in the Fosters Duleek & District League following a fiercely competitive series of matches last Friday night.

Both had to battle all the way for their wins, while Greyhound had to settle for a point from their visit to Thatch.

It’s a similar story in Division 1 where just two points cover the entire eight teams after two rounds, led by the two promoted sides Thatch C and Grennans.

There are no matches this Friday because of the bank holiday weekend, with league action to resume on Friday November 2nd.
