Rod Stewart’s greatest hits will top the bill at the TLT this week

SOME Guys have all the luck is a show dedicated to the great Rod Stewart and it’s coming to the TLT on November 10th next.

This brand new theatre production celebratin­g the life and career of Rod Stewart, stars Paul Metcalfe and featuring a fantastic live band with impeccable credits, the show takes the audience through Rod’s incredible story from his humble beginnings street busking and singing in the R ‘n B clubs of the 60’s through to worldwide superstard­om and record sales in excess of 100 million!

Details from the TLT on a different topic each week and participan­ts get a list of sample sentences to bring home with them, some popular Irish songs are also included. The `Know Your Drogheda` course will be presented each week in a relaxed and laidback manner at the Drogheda Museum Millmount and will be presented by renowned Community Historian Brendan Matthews in associatio­n with the Old Drogheda Society. Beginning on Thursday evening November 1st from 7.45pm to 8.45pm and ending on Thursday evening November 29th; this course is designed for anyone interested in the town`s historic past and would be deemed ideal for both adults and students alike and also for those who may be already employed in the tourism/hospitalit­y sector in the north-east region.
