Greyhound lead chase as Carranstown set the pace
GREYHOUND’S narrow victory over Mariner on Friday night last means they’re hot on the heels of Carranstown at the top of the Fosters Duleek & District League Premier Division.
In Division 1 there’s now a four-way tie at the top of the table after joint leaders Thatch C and Grennans drew with each other, while Sally and Lynchs are the pace-setters in Division 2 and Mariner B lead the way in Division 3.

NUMBERS drawn in last week’s Duleek AFC/SBG FC lotto were 13, 17, 21, 26 and the six €20 prizes went to C Morris, Cizzy, B Baxter, D Giles, S McConnon and J Fitzpatrick.
The draw takes place every Thursday at 8.30pm in the Duleek AFC clubhouse, tickets are available from committee members and the jackpot this week remains at €8,000.
Various time slots are currently available on the all-weather pitch, with kids’ parties also catered for, and there is a centrally-heated meeting room available to rent with a capacity of 70 people and free car parking etc.

Rings night in Muldoons LAST Friday night’s results in the Meath Rings League Cup competition were as follows:
Lobinstown 3 Gormalough 2, Muldoons 3 Woodtown 2, Fays 3 Sally 0, Lobinstown B 3 Keogans 2.
This coming Saturday and Sunday from 2pm the Leinster Rings Tournament will be hosted by Muldoons, Drumconrath. There will be Teams and Singles competition, plus separate events for Under-23 and Over-65 players.
