Man for trial after Scarlet St incident

A 28-year-old man has been sent forward for trial to the circuit criminal court in Dundalk on 20 November next.

Graham Taylor, Kiltalown Park, Tallaght, Dublin 24, is charged with intentionally or recklessly driving a car over middle islands and zebra crossings where children had just finished school, in a manner which created substantial risk of death or serious injury to another, at Scarlet Street, Drogheda, on 19 September, 2017.

The court heard he is on bail on this matter and in custody on another.

Taylor was granted legal aid for a solicitor, barrister and senior counsel.
