Captains Prize: Conditions were very windy on Saturday for the final event of the season, the Captains Prize. A good number of members took part. Ladies Winner: Cathy Richardson; Runner-up Marie Brennan. 18 nett winner was Maureen Andrews and 18gross winner was Marie Black.

The Gents winner was Richard Brennan; Runner-up was Richard Bennett. The 18nett winner was Andrew Bennett and the 18 gross winner was Brian Duff. The dinner in Whyte’s of Stamullen was held that night and was an unqualified success, the meal was really delicious and the craic mighty. Turkey competitions continue each Sunday at 10.30a.m. If you are thinking about Christmas gifts, why not give the present of membership to you family and friends.
