Dipping Tarmac on Bachelor’s Lane makes mess of new yellow lines

A new strip of tarmac was laid on Bachelor’s Lane recently, along with new road markings and some nicely painted double yellow lines.

We did say at the time that maybe a concrete finish would have been better as the rest of the street is concrete.

But now a further problem has arisen.

The tarmc is dipping below the surface of the old concrete, leading to a trip hazard.

Some repairs did take place last week, but now they’ve half covered the new double yellow lines.

It looks a bit of a mess!
