Lolo and the Fleadh in race for awards
ANOTHER day, another award nomination for the driving force behind the Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann 2018 in Drogheda!
Voting is open for Lolo Robinson to win the Community Hero award at the Charity Impact Awards this year.
This award aims to shine a light on those remarkable individuals who, year after year, dedicate their time and energy to supporting a community and voluntary organisation, club or association.
The Wheel, Ireland’s national association of community and voluntary organisations, charities and social enterprises, has developed the Charity Impact Awards to promote best practice and increase awareness of the significance and role of the nonprofit sector in Irish society.
These national awards celebrate the work of community and voluntary and charitable organisations, clubs or groups that have brought about positive change.
Five nominees were shortlisted in each of sub-categories, and from November 12th, the public have a chance to vote for the shortlisted nominees. At the same time, a panel of judges will evaluate the shortlisted stories.
A winner will be chosen in each sub-category based on both the judges’ evaluation and the number of votes registered.
Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony in Dublin on December 11th.
