ALL night vigil in Knock for the Feast of the Im­mac­u­late Con­cep­tion. Bus leav­ing on Fri­day De­cem­ber 7 at 6pm. Book­ing at St Peters sac­risty or 0863185279. Fare is €20.

Op­er­a­tion Trans­for­ma­tion takesoverDuleek

Op­er­a­tion Mo­ti­va­tion in con­junc­tion with Op­er­a­tion Trans­for­ma­tion will kick off in Duleek on Satur­day Jan­uary 12th at 10am with a walk around the Vil­lage (4/5km) and then a mid-week walk on Wed­nes­day night at 7pm.

These walks will con­tinue for a du­ra­tion of 8 Weeks which helps greatly with stress/health and well be­ing in gen­eral.

All are wel­come to take part and the only thing needed for this ac­tiv­ity is re­flec­tive cloth­ing and ap­pro­pri­ate footwear. All walks will start at the Vil­lage Green. Any fur­ther in­for­ma­tion con­tact Carol 0857538995

Ju­lianstown & District Com­mu­nity As­so­ci­a­tion and The Lime Kiln in­vite all the lo­cal res­i­dents and es­pe­cially the younger res­i­dents to meet Santa, Mrs. Claus and The Elves who will be calling to The Lime Kiln on Tues­day 11th De­cem­ber at 6.30 p.m. Santa will have a wee gift for all the chil­dren.

Morn­ing­ton Gospel Choir will get things rolling with Christ­mas Car­ols and there’s a raf­fle on the night. Ad­mis­sion is a do­na­tion to­wards 2019 projects for Ju­lianstown vil­lage.

THE Drogheda Spe­cial Olympics club are re­cruit­ing new vol­un­teers. They pro­vide sports train­ing and com­pe­ti­tion for ath­letes with an in­tel­lec­tual disability. For more info, con­tact the sec­re­tary at 0830527492.

Kate, Jack and Lucy Reynolds won a com­pe­ti­tion to help Santa to switch on the lights in Drogheda.
