St Mary’s DS ‘Share to Care Campaign’
A first year SPHE class in St Mary’s Diocesan School have taken part in the Share to Care Campaign run by the Order of Malta. The Share to Care group are hosting a snowball (pompom) fight for the children in respite care. Many of the children have hearing or sight issues and the soft woollen balls are a great way for children to enjoy the texture of these balls through their sense of touch. The boys at St Mary’s eagerly jumped to the task of making these pompoms and made over 400 of them so that the Children could have a great time. They were delighted to present them to the Order of Malta officials, Elizabeth and John Doyle on Wednesday 28th November. Well done to all the students and parents who have gotten involved. We wish all the children a fun and enjoyable snowball fight.
