Joe O’Donoghue and Peter McConnon are West End stars
In an entertaining under 13 game at O’Raghallaigh Park on Friday night West End defeated Marian Park on the score 2-9 to 1-1.
West End’s superiority at midfield was the telling- factor in this game, and Joe O’Donoghue, Peter McConnon, kept their forwards supplied well throughout the match. Hard as Dom Berrill, Liam Wilson and John Craig tried they could make no impression on the West Gate side.
Best for the winners were J. O’Donoghue, P. McConnon, J. King, and A. Miller, while S. Kelly. L. Wilson, J. Craig, and D. Berrill played well for the defeated side.
