Shocked teacher Vicky lands brand new house for 2019!
EARLY NEW YEAR PRESENT FOR ST MARY’S PARISH PRIMARY TEACHER
MUM- OF-THREE Vicky Hanratty was in pretty good form on Sunday night - thanks to a local GAA club.
Vicky was selected from 8,000 tickets as the winner of a brand new house in Termonfeckin, valued at close to €300,000. The much heralded ‘Buy a Feckin House’ branded competition ended in dramatic fashion in a packed Westcourt Hotel.
Parish Priest of Termonfeckin, Fr Paul Byrne, did the draw and wished the winner well.
THE much heralded ‘Buy a Feckin House’ competition ended in dramatic fashion in a packed Westcourt Hotel on Sunday as St Fechin’s finally announced who had won a new home in Termonfeckin.
The grand draw - with a top prize of a new home, valued at €285,000 - or €265,000 in cash - was performed by Parish Priest Fr John Byrne and after a host of other prizes were handed out, he plucked out number 7291 - Vicky Hanratty of Colpe Avenue in Drogheda.
Mum of three and married to Colm, it was revealed that Vicky is a teacher in St Mary’s Parish Primary School and although not there on the night, a call was made live to her home to give the shocked family the good news!
Hosted by Gerry Kelly, the draw proved a great success with all the 8,0000 €100 tickets sold by mid July.
