GOAL MILE
The GOAL Christmas Mile event was held on St. Stephen’s Day at Pairc Naomh Feichin. It was the eleventh year that the GOAL Christmas Mile was held in Termonfeckin. Once again it was very well attended. GOAL is an international humanitarian organisation, dedicated to alleviation of suffering among the poorest of the poor in the developing world. Since its inception in 1977 GOAL volunteers have assisted and responded to almost every major global natural and man-made disaster.
CHRISTMAS MASSES.
The meaning of Christmas was again well and truly evident at all Masses marking the feast of the Nativity. Fr. Paul made it a very joyous occasion with his homilies. Well done to others who played their part, Ministers of the Word and Eucharist, Altar Servers and as always, the Choir excelled with its singing.
ADVENT LITURGY
Well done to the Parish Pastoral Council on organising the Advent Liturgy held in the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Sunday December 23rd. This event set out to prepare us for the birth of our Saviour through music and reflection. The impact on Our Lady, St. Joseph and the Shepherds was also narrated.
ADORATION
Eucharistic Adoration takes place on Monday evenings from 7-8pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Why not come and spend some quiet time in the presence of the Lord.
