Concerns over Mosney road and Rathdrinagh Cross

-

CALLS have been made for a yellow box at the Mosney Junction.

The area is treacherous for motorists trying to get onto the main road, given the speed of passing traffic.

‘It needs a yellow box,’ Cllr Tom Kelly told fellow councillors at the area council meeting. ‘ Trying to get out onto the road is lethal,’ he warned.

The councillor has also expressed concerns about trucks parking on the roadside outside service stations.

‘Cars find it difficult to get onto the road as their views are blocked,’ he stated. He has long called for measures to be taken on the matter.
