Dunleer to celebrate national enterprise success story

FOLLOWING the success of Dunleer winning the National Award for the Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town, the lead organisati­on Dunleer Community Developmen­t board (DCDB) is holding a celebratio­n event for all the community at the Market House Dunleer on Monday 14th January, commencing promptly at 10am.

DCDB Chairman Tony Mallon outlined that the feedback from people locally and throughout the county was great, “the award recognised the collaborat­ion and determinat­ion of community groups, business and traders to work together to develop Dunleer, and so we decided to celebrate this success with this event on Monday the 14th where all of the community are invited”

Tony went on to thank Joan Martin CEO of Louth County Council Thomas McEvoy of Louth Enterprise office for nominating Dunleer, he also thanked Paula Harmon Head of Bank of Ireland Co Louth for her support and sponsorshi­p.

Dunleer was acclaimed as being a hotspot of enterprise, countrywid­e.
